Lol thanks man! Björn actually posted above you! :D

Great work, great work indeed (- -,)b

I was first introduced to your music when I saw your HoN teaser song on the NG top 25, which for the record I want you to finish! :D - and then all your latest stuff have been gold man, I'm digging your style and I'm digging this song.
You're going places - You're that good! ^^

keep it up

very nice, very nice indeed!

I liked the piano melody a lot, very calm and beautifull.
A suggestion on what you could change is to rethink a lil how your drum loop get's introduced into the song. Instead of going in with the whole loop velocity automated, feels a little needlessly sudden, you could've started out with just the bass drum to give a lil epic feeling then slowly added the hihats and whatnot. Hope you understand what I'm getting at since while I'm writing this I confuse myself a lil xD

Very nicely done :)

IVoltage responds:

Thanks again for your review Shoephly!

I have to admit (with shame) that i did just learn about how to make the Automation Clips work, so i was kind of eager to optimize the use of it in a song. But now that you mention this i do agree with you, it might sound a little bit better if i start out with one or two pieces of the drums and let the rest come in slightly later. As i've said before i'll keep working on this song and i'll definitely let you know if i reupload a enhanced version!

Thanks again for the review and the kind words, it's truely great to hear that people actually like your work!

needs mastering :)

I must say I quite enjoy this, not bad at all. I'd suggest remastering the sound just a little on the piano feels slightly overpowering, as well as playing a little with the equalizer on the kickdrum (might i suggest more bass:y (a stretched reversed "s" shape)) think it would help. And the "crash" or whatever it was at 0:50 definetly did not found good. xD

But overall this is some good stuff, good melody and concept

keep it up!

-shoephly. ^^

Naoki-Reisen responds:

LOL in my opinion, the kick is enough (it's already boosted in that state). Though I agree on the piano; it lost the soft. I'll try to look for a good piano sample.

This I like, well made. Don't know what to say so you could improve, since it was really enjoyable. :p

keep it up ^^

yeajimmiboi responds:

Thanks for the review mate! Glad you liked it, im gonna try tighten it up a bit later. Thanks bro stay safe. :)

sweeet

I seriously like the way you opened the song, first 20 seconds were perfect, then as it progresses it still has the great happy feel to it, which is great, so codos to you.
It's at the 1 minute mark that all the patterns you're throwing in, the melody and everything get's overpowered, but this could easily be fixed with just a few moments mastering the song.

So from what I've heard in this demo, damn! This track has the potential to be sooo freakishly awesome, can't wait to hear it. (this demo was awesome nevertheless)

Keep it up!!
-shoephly ^^

Chimy727 responds:

thanks dude ill look into it!
im still getting the hang of mastering but it's easily fixable!
:D
thanks

Nice

Lol, you should definetly fix the limiter problems, might i suggest simply taking away the limiter? could help.

Now to the song; loved the beat and the melody was sweet :D And for a "first" song I must say that this is really really good, could use some mastering for sure but don't worry too much about it atm, great work! And keep up the good work! ^^

IVoltage responds:

Thanks mate, feels good to get some great first reviews, I will definitely try and upload more in the future, but as i am still in the learning phase of FL Studio i might not get to creating a full song just yet.

I ensure you tho, you will hear more from me!

nice :)

ambient, smooth.

Chrono Cross had some of the best video game music ever, and the game was godly as well.

Good job remixing it and not overdoing it which would essebtially ruin it.

You should make a remix of Dream of the Shore Near Another World which was definetly the best OST from Chrono Cross.

Keep up the good work!
-shoephly

renardine responds:

Thank you! I agree, overdoing it would have killed it in this case. The original song was already pretty ambient, and I felt like I did go overboard in terms of that, so it's good to hear others do not think that.

I will see what I can do about your request. :)

CC has an amazing soundtrack!

Nice!

Really enjoyed this, the original song was awesome and this is no different.
10/10

I do soo agree with Dj-Zexus though, the piano needs more pads or something because that "part" made me consider turing the song off.. xD
And to add to that I in all honesty think that the piano synth you used was waay too loud; play around with an EQ on the piano, would help immencely.

-shoephly :)

SASKID responds:

Yeah i might consider that :) i might spice this up as it does sound a lot like the original. I just had to remake this song with my own hands because i cannot get enough of the synth line.

The piano is layered 3 times, so getting the EQ perfect is gonna be a bitch x]

When i change the EQ i might re submit this song and you can see if it worked :D

Thanks!
